Το Ιράκ προχωρά στη προμήθεια 28 L-159 Alca, έναντι 1 δίς. $.Οι πρώτες πληροφορίες για τις λεπτομέρειες της προμήθειας διίστανται, FlightGlobal και Novosti γράφουν για 24 εκπαιδευτικά από τα "αποθέματα" ενώ το Τσέχικο ceskenoviny.cz μιλά για 24 νέα μονοθέσια ελαφράς κρούσης L-159 + 4 διθέσια.
Η συμφωνία επισφραγίστηκε κατά τη διάρκεια
της επίσκεψης του Ιρακινού πρωθυπουργού Νούρι αλ Μάλικι στην Πράγα.Τα πρώτα L-159 ανεμένεται να παραληφθούν από την Ιρακινή αεροπορία μετά από επτά μήνες.
Αν δεν κάνω λάθος όλα είναι απο τα "παρκαρισμένα" των Τσέχων και όχι καινούργια. Και θα παραδοθούν άμεσα. Τελικά το Ιράκ αγοράζει από εκεί που ξανάπερνε Σερβία, Τσεχία.....

Czech L-159 talks with Iraq stall
Czech aircraft maker Aero Vodochody continues to negotiate with the Iraqi government over the potential sale of 28 L-159 light attack and training aircraft, worth approximately USD1 billion.
Senior management of Aero Vodochody has admitted, however, that talks with the Iraqi government have stalled due to fierce competition faced by the L-159 from the Korean Aerospace Industries (KAI) TA-50 Golden Eagle.
A deal for four surplus Army of the Czech Republic (ACR) L-159T1 two-seater trainers and 24 newly built L-159Bs was agreed in October 2012 after more than two years of negotiation. However, despite a political agreement being reached and signed by Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and then Czech Defence Minister Alexandr Vondra on 15 October for the buy, technical details have delayed the signing of an actual contract.
